Potato Night in Veliko Ubeljsko has a 36-year long tradition. This was our first time performing here and we can only hope it wasn't our last. The reasons are obvious: exceptional hospitality of the organizers (Miha & Tone – we salute you), downright superb food at Pri Hudičevcu (although our respiratory and physical abilities to move were severely inhibited yet again), and of course – a phenomenal audience. It was you that fed us your positive energy for nearly two hours and made it hard for us to leave the stage. We haven't witnessed such madness for quite some time. We hung out with some fans (some of you even made from far-away Finland) and then slowly packed ourselves into the cars and left for various destinations; seas side, mountains, while our loyal crew (a member of which, Franky, had a birthday) headed for Ljubljana. Without a shred of doubt a night filled with love, rock n' roll and of course – potato. Veliko Ubeljsko was grand indeed! Thank you for this unique experience!Read more
Saturday was reserved for Ljubno ob Savinji's Flosfest 2014. Still a bit tired from the previous night we hit the road just as this enormous storm hit Ljubljana. If we managed to avoid rain on Friday it was very clear that this will not be the case on Saturday. We were all relieved when we heard that the venue was covered with a tent roof. Although the venue still required some skill from our driver, Dušan, to get our gear as close to the stage as possible. The sound check was effective ans super quick due to excellent system and crew that managed it. After the sound check we were taken by the organizers, Klub zgornjesavskih študnetov (hat's off to this year's execution of the festival!) to dinner in hotel Planinka. There, their boss Helena made sure that we got almost "offed" by all the culinary goods. :) Then we (almost) rolled back to the stage. Well, the desert came in the shape of the concert. Two hours of rock n roll and really loud audience proved to me more than just the cherry on top of the cake. Great job, Flosfest, great job!Read more
A few weeks have passed since our last gig, which only added to the anticipation for this weekend's double bill. On Friday we headed to Moškanjci near Ptuj and Top Rock festival. We arrived in the afternoon and did the sound check. Jani to a ride with a wicked cruiser while above our heads the airplanes did their own tricks. Great atmosphere and devoted organizers. This was followed by dinner and hanging out with some friends of ours. At 11 PM our intro filled the venue and rock n' roll trip began. The great atmosphere from the afternoon reappeared and we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. Adter the concert we hung out with our fans, gave a few autographs, drank a few beers with the organizers and then slowly headed back home.Read more
Upon our arrival at the venue in early afternoon the clouds covered the skies and tried to threaten with rain but they couldn't match the positive energy among us. The organizer, Alex, took care of us with a great care. Right after the sound check he tried to "off" us with exceptional late lunch and that's why we took off in a hurry to the nearest pub to "up" ourselves with some coffee and a mandatory football match. When we returned to the venue other bands were already warming up the crowd. The concert flew by too quickly and we could easily drop another half an hour worth of songs. We ended this great evening with some friends, other bands and Alex, watch a couple of other performances and the headed to Ljubljana. Thank you Vransko! Thank you Alex! Undoubtedly another unforgettable "Summer night"!Read more
After the acoustic concert in Maribor we switched our instruments and plugged them in for a gig in Murska Sobota. It's been six years since our last concert, damn it. Idyllic park near a castle and the kindness of hosts … How could we not be happy? After the sound check we hung out with out friends Orlek, watched the mandatory football match and then headed to Hotel Diana for lunch. At 10 PM we hit the stage and shook Murska Sobota. We enjoyed the gig so much it was over in a blink of an eye. After the concert we took some photos with our fans and then slowly headed back home.Read more
Lent, main stage and acoustic … This combination was on our to-do list for quite some time. On Saturday this wish came true and Maribor delivered a magical evening. A feast at Leon's, moon-lit Drava river and full auditorium indulged us through out the concert and we were more than glad to return the warmth. Girls from Pandora – Art of Pole dance group graciously provided the proverbial cherry on top with their soft and gracious interpretation of two of our songs. A concert to remember!Read more
Ajdovščina welcomed us with a sunny weather even though it looked much grimmer in the morning. The venue was positioned next to Hiša Mladih, quietly waiting for the evenings concert. After the sound check we were pleasantly surprised by a homemade stew. Then we hung out with some old friends (Bongo press). The gig turned out into a great party and we sang a happy birthday to our Eva and after the show a young couple got engaged in our company. What more could we ask for?Read more
We knew that Maribor won't disappoint… It never did! Siddharta performed at Lampiončki for the first time and all we can say are praises! Even the weather turned for the better and those few puddles of mud didn't bother us and even less so the audience. The organizers, lead by Ramiz, did their very best to make us feel right at home and we repaid them with what we do best – with a blast of music! Awesome gig, awesome audience, awesome company! Here's to years to come, dear friends!Read more
In all these years since our first gig back in 1995, this was the first time we got to play in Lendava. We were more than a little nervous but what we witnessed on Friday surpassed all our expectations. The devoted team of Bilingual Middle School Lendava (Mojca, Lučka, Peti, Silvija, Nataša, Sandi…) made sure we felt more than just like at home in Prekmurje. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with home-made bograč and prekmurska gibanica. A great welcome and smiling faces everywhere we looked. Two, three interviews, sound check and a trip to Cuk Borhaz House of Wine, where our host Eva told us about local legends and other stories as we were tasting the wine. And don't even get us started on the amazing view. The day slowly turned into evening as we headed for dinner that was waiting for us in hotel Lipa. Full of impressions and food we got ready for the gig. We rounded up the day with two hours of rock n' roll and finished off with a promise to return. One way or the other. Thank you!Read more
We paid our respects on this International Worker's Day with - well, work. But if you enjoy doing it then it is pure pleasure. And we enjoyed it to the fullest. Wonderful nature, super kind hosts and phenomenal gig. We have seen the new Bovec airport from afar; the new modern hangar and the airport platform. While we were loading our gear onto the stage, the airplanes and helicopters were flying right over our heads. Sometimes even a bit too close for comfort. Also the spirits got higher and higher. We received a fair portion of rain during the soundcheck and for a moment we got concerned that the weather might overpower us on this day. Fortunately this wasn't the case. After an really quite exquisite dinner at Sovdat we headed back to the venue to prepare for the show. The skies opened, the stars appeared and the music overflew the airport. This was the first time we performed in Bovec and we'd be more than happy to return. We'd like to thank all involved for a truly amazing evening! Long live May 1st!Read more
After the full blown gig on Saturday we repacked the bus for acoustic set on Saturday in Celje. We hear many great things about Kino Metropol from our friends in other bands. And justly so. The venue, the sound system, the kind locals, the dinner in Pizzeria Koper … All of this culminated in a phenomenal acoustic gig, that has its share of relaxed moments. Hanging out with our friends after the show wad just the cherry on the top of the cake.Read more
Novo mesto always makes us feel good… It really is no wonder that it feels like 2nd home here. We have a lot friends here and it was really nice to see them all together again. And there is no better place to throw a party than Lokal Patriot. And we also played a few songs. :) Well, we sweated away for almost two hours on stage and enjoyed ourselves with you, dear friends, in front of the stage sharing the rock n' roll energy. Wild and with no compromising!Read more
What an incredible evening this has been in Trbovlje!!! Acoustic gig that we will remember for a long long time. It can be easily rated right up there in our Top 10 if not even Top 5 concerts of our career. Delavski dom in Trbvolje is a magnificent theatre and a concert venue with a rich history, big stage and is also great from acoustic point of view. It was a real honor to be hosted here for this one night. Everything was just the way we could only hope for … Exquisite dinner, flawless technical performance and a packed venue. We haven't enjoyed being on stage like this for quite some time… A total control over the performance, great sound and phenomenal crowd! Awesome! We hope we get to come here soon!Read more

This Saturday was reserved for Ribnica. Due to the last series of earthquakes we decide that "Let it shake! Let it shake!" might not be quite the right lingo for this evening, but T.H.O.R. Stayed on the playlist all the same. Gallop Pub was all set when we arrived so we got right down to business. After we finished the sound check the organizer (obviously conspiring with the local restaurant) decided that he'll kill us off with food. As soon as we calculated all the bits of the situation we agreed that we hit the stage with a 30 minute delay. And even this was cutting it close. And the it began. The tempo was rising, the audience went wilder and wilder and if the local DJ wouldn't have such itchy fingers and such an anxious mouse, we'd surely play one if not two more songs. And even though it was raining outside, inside the sun was shining in all its glory. Afterwards we hung out with with some friends in the backstage, the slowly loaded ourselves onto a bus and headed back home to Ljubljana! Ribnica, thank you for a truly exceptional evening!Read more
Because we had to maneuver our tour bus we managed to completely close off one of the main streets in Lublin - during rush hour. Then an off-roader had to drive our trailer to the club and then we finally managed to get off the bus and do the load-in. Great club, big stage, nice locals. Graffiti Klub. The last evening on this mini tour. During “Novi Svet” we receive the news that our Darian became a father. His newborn daughter, Rea, instantly became the focus and the star of the rest of the evening (and thenight). Congratulations! As it should be done we said our farewells to the closest of our Polish friends who spoiled us rotten every evening with their devotion and love. Grateful for the most honest moments of joy! POLAND, WE’LL MEET AGAIN!Read more
The fortress and a club Forty Kleparz … is a very impressive building. It was as if were some modern age troubadours playing in an medieval castle. It had the smallest stage ever but with a few creative twists we managed to pack ourselves onto it. Our smart-phones solved a reverb issue the mix table had … in short – it was a MacGyver kinda evening. But the gig was beyond wild! And it was Sunday night just to top it off… Maybe it was we just because couldn’t leave the stage that we played a few additional numbers on top of our playlist. What an amazing gratitude and devotion of the fans … it took us on a mental trip back to the times before Rh-. It was hard to say goodbye and we promise that we will be back!Read more
Saturday night was reserved for Warsaw and Progresja Music Zone. After celebrating Tomi’s birthday we were all a bit lazy and slow, we must admit. Luckily the backstage was in 3rd floor so at least this little climb made our blood flow. We had some time for a walk but somehow we didn’t manage to get too far. More or less we popped out to the nearest superstore for some bread and that was pretty much it. But do not be mistaken; the night has its own power and the gig was phenomenal. Loud and full of energy. The fans really connected with us and we could play and play. We met with some familiar face after the gig and made some new friends as well. It was nice to chat with a few Slovenes who live and work in Warsaw and came to our gig to see us. At the end we got some “potica” and warm, hand knitted scarves, so we wouldn’t be too cold in Krakow.Read more
If you want to get from Ljubljana to Poland you must first cross the Slovenian-Austrainborder. Which is not always (obviously) that simple. The Karavanke tunnel got shot down for good six hours right in front of our noses (we went through Karavanke Tunnel because we had to pick up another driver in Germany on our way to Poland). So we had to hit the country roads, cross Italy and had a unique chance to get our 4 meters high bus through a 3,8 meter tunnel along the way. Without a single scratch.Read more
We came to Glogow a good hours late and sweated our way through sound check, which wasn’t all that traumatic because the club is pretty good from the acoustics point of view. The weather was took a second place on the importance scale since it was Tomi’s birthday. The surprise that the band and the Polish fans prepared for him during the encore is virtually indescribable and we can only hope that a video will surface somewhere on YouTube. The crowd got warmed up by a metalband Impala and their fans in Amon Amarth T-shirts stayed even through our show. Thank you, our dear fans, for a greatly executed birthday evening! The cake was incredible! And we’ll drink the personalized beer all too soon!
